Pitts, Johnson discounts shape NFC South fantasy outlook

Egbuka sits just outside the top 50 in early drafts.

What happened: Scott Pianowski highlighted Kyle Pitts Sr., Juwan Johnson, Chuba Hubbard and Emeka Egbuka as early values entering 2026. Projected volume supports the group, with clearer roles for Hubbard and Egbuka and concentrated target paths for Pitts and Johnson.

Why it matters: Rico Dowdle’s departure leaves Jonathon Brooks as Hubbard’s primary competition, while Mike Evans’ exit could shift more work to Egbuka alongside Chris Godwin Jr. Johnson could approach 100 targets again behind Chris Olave, and Pitts enters his age-26 season in a tight-end-friendly scheme.

By the numbers: Pitts finished 2025 as TE2 but is being drafted as TE8. Johnson fell from TE10 to TE19, Hubbard carries an RB24 price, Brooks has 12 touches in two professional seasons, and Egbuka is going just outside the top 50.

What to watch: Training-camp usage should clarify whether those projected volume gains hold before draft season peaks.
