Nolan Teasley. Brian Flores. Pretty simple why @Prez chose the #Vikings. https://t.co/nNf7Bb4Roi Via @Vikings on X

What happened: The decision gives Nolan Teasley an early recruiting win during his first training camp in charge. Brian Flores remains in place after signing a contract extension in January.

Why it matters: The pairing links roster authority with the coordinator behind one of the NFL's stingiest defenses over the past three seasons. That continuity strengthens Minnesota's personnel pitch entering 2026.

By the numbers: Across Flores' first three seasons coordinating Minnesota's defense, the Vikings allowed 19.2 points and 317.1 yards per game while yielding 5.1 yards per play.

What to watch: Training-camp usage will show where the new arrival fits in Minnesota's plans.
