What happened: The Charge are staying in Ottawa after the PWHL reached an agreement for the club to play in the NHL Senators' home next season, according to two people with knowledge of the discussions who spoke to The Associated Press. The reported deal keeps the franchise in the market after uncertainty around its arena plans.

Why it matters: Keeping the Charge in Ottawa preserves a PWHL presence in one of the league's original Canadian markets. It also links the club more closely with the Ottawa Senators venue footprint as the league continues building stability around its teams.

What to watch: Watch for the PWHL and Senators to confirm the agreement, including dates, ticketing and any operational details. The next schedule release should clarify how the venue fit works across hockey calendars.
