What happened: The Las Vegas Raiders intend to keep Kirk Cousins in the starting lineup as long as possible, according to Adam Schefter. Team leadership does not view the veteran passer as the primary cause of recent struggles on the field.

Why it matters: The commitment reinforces stability at the quarterback position despite mounting outside scrutiny following consecutive defeats. Las Vegas is prioritizing continuity under center as the offense works to regain early-season rhythm.

What to watch: The Raiders face the New York Jets on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET.
