What happened: Toronto identifies Nate Bittle as a center wearing No. 12 for the 2026-27 season. The designation follows his two-way signing ahead of the season opener.

Why it matters: Two-way contracts let Toronto carry developmental frontcourt depth while keeping the main roster flexible. Final camp numbers help establish the center rotation before opening-night cuts.

What to watch: Watch whether Bittle holds the two-way spot through the season opener.
