What happened: Toronto will open its preseason schedule in Québec City on Oct. 3 before playing in Vancouver on Oct. 10. The trip continues the franchise's practice of taking preseason basketball beyond Toronto.

Why it matters: The two stops give fans in eastern and western Canada access to the country's lone NBA team before the 2026-27 season. The Vancouver preseason meeting anchors the western leg of the trip.

What to watch: Training camp and roster availability will come into focus as the Oct. 3 opener approaches.
