What happened: Rasmus Dahlin will remain out of the lineup for tonight's game, head coach Lindy Ruff announced. The Buffalo Sabres defenseman also missed Thursday's contest after exiting an Oct. 12 game against Florida with an upper-body injury.

Why it matters: Buffalo continues to navigate its early 2026-27 regular-season schedule without its captain and top blue-liner. While forwards Jiri Kulich and Josh Norris returned to the lineup Saturday night in Montreal, Dahlin did not make the trip.

What to watch: Ruff previously noted Dahlin is progressing day-to-day, leaving Wednesday's game as the next potential target for a lineup update.
