What happened: Saturday's status change rules the quarterback out for Sunday's divisional matchup with an ankle issue first labeled day-to-day on Oct. 5. He had carried a questionable designation after taking the majority of first-team reps as a limited participant on Friday.

Why it matters: With the 2018 first-round pick (32nd overall out of Louisville, as of Sept. 29, 2026) unavailable, Baltimore again turns to backup Tyler Huntley, who was previously in line for a second consecutive start on Oct. 16. The decision reverses late-week practice momentum ahead of a key AFC North home date.

By the numbers: Baltimore enters Sunday at 4-2 in the No. 7 seed on a one-game losing streak after a 13-10 loss at the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 18, 2026. In 13 games for the Ravens in 2025, Jackson completed 192 of 302 passes for 2,549 yards with 21 touchdowns and 7 interceptions (as of Sept. 29, 2026).

What to watch: Baltimore faces Cincinnati on Sunday while Jackson's ankle recovery shifts toward Week 8 preparation.
