The #Vikings have announced the following roster moves - Activated RB Jordan Mason to the 53-man roster. Mason will en Via @Vikings on X

What happened: Mason returns to the 53-man roster after landing on injured reserve in September with a thumb issue and logging full practices throughout the week. To clear the active spot, Minnesota released Dallas from the 53-man roster, re-signed him to the practice squad, and elevated him for Sunday's game.

Why it matters: Getting the fifth-year Georgia Tech product back bolsters the ground game alongside Aaron Jones Sr. after Mason ran 159 times for 758 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games for the Vikings in 2025, per ESPN. Keeping Dallas available via a standard elevation preserves backfield and special-teams depth without using a permanent roster spot.

By the numbers: Minnesota holds a 5-0 record, a five-game winning streak, and the No. 2 seed following its 23-13 road victory at the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 11.

What to watch: Mason enters Sunday's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts cleared for full duty after carrying a questionable tag on Friday's injury report. Dallas will revert to the practice squad following the game under standard elevation rules.
