What happened: UEFA has confirmed the Conference League final pairing: Rayo Vallecano of Spain will meet Crystal Palace of England. Fabrizio Romano flagged the matchup as official after both clubs cleared their respective semifinal ties. The fixture closes out the 2025-26 Conference League campaign.

Why it matters: It is a landmark European final for both clubs, with Crystal Palace chasing a first major continental trophy and Rayo Vallecano reaching uncharted territory in UEFA competition. The match also carries Champions League and Europa League knock-on implications via UEFA's coefficient and qualification ladder. For neutrals, it sets up a stylistic contrast between LaLiga's pressing midweight and a Premier League side built on transition.

What to watch: Watch for the official kickoff time, venue confirmation, and opening market prices once oddsmakers post the final. Squad availability and any late suspensions from the semifinal legs will move lines first.
