What happened: Tampa Bay faced Cleveland in postseason play tied 0-0 and in progress. The home date featured the club's Devil Rays identity throwback uniforms.

Why it matters: Scoreless October innings raise the value of the first run and shorten patience with starters. The throwback identity gives the home crowd a distinct date on the calendar while the game remains undecided.

What to watch: The next scoring play breaks the 0-0 tie and shapes pitching decisions the rest of the night.
