What happened: Austin Reaves and Walker Kessler stayed on the floor into the fourth quarter to close out the preseason finale. On the opposing frontcourt, Marvin Bagley III, playing on a one-year deal, picked up his fifth personal foul during the stint.

Why it matters: Extending primary rotation pieces into the fourth quarter of a preseason finale gives the coaching staff a final live-game dress rehearsal before opening night. Whistle trouble for Bagley limits frontcourt depth down the stretch and forces late-game lineup adjustments.

What to watch: Teams now shift from exhibition play to final roster trims ahead of the 2026-27 regular-season tips.
