What happened: Bordeleau joins Rochester's forward group, while Boyko adds another option in goal ahead of camp. The deals are lined up for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Why it matters: The moves give Rochester added competition at two positions as it shapes its opening roster for the fall. For Thomas Bordeleau, the contract is another chance to regain momentum after his prospect profile cooled from its 2022 high point.

What to watch: Watch how quickly Bordeleau and Boyko are folded into Rochester's camp group and early lineup decisions. Their first preseason usage should offer the clearest read on where each fits.
