What happened: Houston converted Julian Phillips and Oscar Tshiebwe to two-way contracts per @TheSteinLine. Phillips is listed as a forward and Tshiebwe as a forward-center.

Why it matters: Two-way slots give Houston low-cost depth and shuttle flexibility without using full roster spots. Tshiebwe was already under evaluation for a depth role entering camp.

What to watch: Watch whether both remain in two-way slots through the season opener.
