What happened: Houston cut Pedulla from a two-way contract during preseason trimming ahead of the 2026-27 season. He finished last season with the LA Clippers and remained with them for Summer League overtime run with LA.

Why it matters: The move frees a two-way slot as Houston shapes its opening-week roster. Pedulla signed with Houston in August after his stint with Los Angeles.

What to watch: Houston must finalize its two-way group before the opener. Pedulla becomes available to sign elsewhere or join a G League camp.
