What happened: Roger McQueen earned a recall from AHL San Diego on Oct. 13, per @FriedgeHNIC. The 2025 10th overall pick is a candidate to play his first NHL game tonight.

Why it matters: First NHL games are the key milestone for a top-10 selection. An immediate debut would give coaches a first read on his fit at NHL pace.

What to watch: Pregame lineup confirmation will show whether he draws in tonight and where he slots.
