What happened: Fabrizio Romano's latest 'Here We Go' podcast on Men In Blazers details mounting turmoil at Real Madrid, centered on a fallout between Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde. Romano reports Jose Mourinho has been open to taking the Madrid job since March, while Toni Kroos is still mentioned internally and Alvaro Arbeloa is expected to depart. The podcast frames the situation as 'big chaos' with cascading consequences for the squad.

Why it matters: Real Madrid face Barcelona next, raising the stakes on any internal rift between two midfield starters. A managerial opening tied to Mourinho would mark one of the most consequential coaching shifts in European football, and Kroos resurfacing internally signals the club is weighing veteran stabilizers. Arbeloa's expected exit points to broader staff restructuring beyond the first team.

What to watch: Watch the Madrid-Barcelona fixture for visible signs of the Tchouameni-Valverde rift on the pitch. Any official club statement on the manager position or Arbeloa's role would escalate this from podcast chatter to confirmed transition.
