What happened: Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media after Al-Nassr's latest match, telling supporters 'the dream is close' and that the club has 'one more step to take.' Fabrizio Romano relayed the message, which thanked fans for their support on the night. The post follows Ronaldo's recent milestone of reaching 100 Saudi Pro League goals.

Why it matters: Ronaldo's rallying cry signals Al-Nassr are within reach of silverware, a prize that has eluded the Portuguese star since his Saudi move. The framing 'one more step' suggests a final or decisive fixture ahead, raising the stakes for a club built around his pursuit of trophies. For a player who has reached 100 Saudi Pro League goals and 971 for his career, a team trophy would meaningfully reshape his Saudi legacy.

What to watch: Watch for confirmation of the specific competition and fixture Ronaldo references, and Al-Nassr's team news ahead of the decisive match. Lineup status and any rotation calls will signal how the club manages the run-in.
