What happened: Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley sustained a season-ending turf toe injury, elevating rookie Joe Fagnano to starter for Thursday night's game against Jacksonville. The move comes with starter Lamar Jackson sidelined indefinitely due to a right thumb injury that requires surgery.

Why it matters: The injuries leave Baltimore turning to its third-string quarterback on a short week amid a three-game losing streak. At 4-4, the Ravens have slipped to the No. 10 seed in the AFC playoff race and face critical pressure to stabilize their offense.

What to watch: Fagnano will make his first career NFL start on Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
