What happened: New Orleans ruled out linebacker Kaden Elliss for Monday night's Week 4 home game against Atlanta. Defensive end Carl Granderson and edge Anfernee Jennings were also ruled out, while linebacker Pete Werner and tight end Noah Fant were listed as questionable.

Why it matters: That leaves the Saints thinner at linebacker and on the edge for a divisional game at Superdome. The absences follow Thursday's injury report, which had already carried multiple defensive question marks into the weekend.

By the numbers: Three Saints were ruled out on the final Week 4 injury report: Kaden Elliss, Carl Granderson and Anfernee Jennings. Two more remained questionable for Monday night: Pete Werner and Noah Fant.

What to watch: New Orleans' inactive list will come out closer to kickoff Monday night. Werner and Fant are the remaining Saints names to watch after the final practice report.
