#Saints RB Alvin Kamara, who is questionable with a knee injury because of an MCL sprain, is not expected to play today

What happened: The New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions have yet to start their scheduled matchup.

Why it matters: The standard for using him should be readiness for game contact, with no exceptions based on name recognition or pressure to dress an established player.
