What happened: The Seattle Seahawks signed safety Rodney Thomas II from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster.

Why it matters: The promotion secures his spot on the roster after he emerged as a core piece of the secondary. He has recorded four tackles and two pass deflections since being elevated for game action.

By the numbers: The 28-year-old currently leads the Seahawks in snaps played on defense in 2026, missing only one defensive play.
