What happened: Head coach Spencer Carbery addressed the media ahead of Saturday afternoon's scheduled game against New Jersey. His remarks focused on the recall of Jonny Brodzinski and Logan Thompson's strong play so far this season.

Why it matters: The move brings Brodzinski into the lineup conversation after Carbery evaluated Brodzinski's preseason start earlier this fall. Thompson's early-season form also remains a central storyline entering the matchup.

What to watch: Washington and New Jersey are scheduled to meet Saturday afternoon with the score at 0-0.
