What happened: Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek sustained injuries during the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 5 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, ruling both wide receivers out against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Their absences leave DK Metcalf, Germie Bernard, and Kaden Wetjen as the only active wideouts left from the opening 53-man roster. Pittsburgh also elevated first-year receiver Brandon Smith from the practice squad on Oct. 10 to reinforce the unit.

Why it matters: The injuries strip quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers of perimeter depth heading into Week 6. Yahoo NFL evaluated potential trade avenues with the Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and Jacksonville Jaguars, where Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Brenton Strange currently command targets. Divisional deals are rare, though Cleveland previously traded quarterback Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals.

What to watch: Brandon Smith is a candidate for a Week 6 roster spot against Tampa Bay while Pittsburgh weighs trade options ahead of the deadline.
