What happened: Steven Alzate came on for Tristan Muyumba in the 61st minute with the match at 0-3. The midfield substitution immediately followed opponents' goals in the 56th and 60th minutes that stretched the deficit from one to three.

Why it matters: The second-half collapse forced an immediate tactical adjustment in the center of the pitch after two quick goals put the result out of reach. It marks a second straight appearance off the bench for Alzate after entering in the 65th minute earlier this week.

What to watch: Atlanta plays out the final half-hour looking to stabilize midfield possession and avoid further damage on the scoreboard.
