What happened: Kwan used a quick release from the outfield to cut down a scoring attempt at the plate during Sunday's MLB postseason game.

Why it matters: The run-saving throw underscores the defensive profile of an outfielder named a Gold Glove finalist for the fifth straight year on Oct. 14. Entering his final season of club control, Kwan continues to impact high-leverage October innings with his glove.

What to watch: Gold Glove Award winners will be announced after the conclusion of the postseason.
