Sydney Taylor put on a show tonight! ⭐ The rookie dropped a team-high 19 PTS on 6-of-10 shooting, including four triple Via @WNBA on X

What happened: Sydney Taylor scored a team-high 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including four 3-pointers, as Chicago built a lead over Los Angeles. She added two assists as the Sky pulled ahead of the Sparks in the second half.

Why it matters: The Sparks enter on a two-game skid at 11-13 this season and were already outscored by Chicago 87-102 in their last meeting on July 10. A Sparks loss would extend that slide as Los Angeles searches for consistency down the stretch.

By the numbers: Sydney Taylor: 19 PTS, 6-of-10 FG, 4-of-7 3PT, 2 AST.

What to watch: Watch whether the Sparks can cut into Chicago's lead in the closing minutes, and whether Taylor adds to her point total.
