What happened: The Houston Texans activated defensive tackle Kayden McDonald and safety M.J. Stewart to the active roster. The team waived quarterback Mark Gronowski and wide receiver Bryce Oliver in corresponding moves.

Why it matters: McDonald returns to the defensive line after being placed on injured reserve in September. Stewart provides additional depth in the secondary after recording 25 tackles in nine games for the franchise in 2025.

What to watch: Both defensive players join the active roster ahead of Houston's upcoming game.
