What happened: Trey Amos, Dorance Armstrong and Deatrich Wise Jr. received the active/physically unable to perform designations. The roster moves took effect at the start of 2026 training camp.
Why it matters: The designation allows each player to return to practice during camp once medically cleared. Their absences temporarily reduce the available depth at cornerback and defensive end.
By the numbers: Amos started eight of 10 games in 2025, Armstrong started five of seven and Wise started both of his appearances. Together, they made 15 starts across 19 games.
