A few players on PUP as they continue to recover from last year’s injuries… Via @RapSheet on X

What happened: Trey Amos, Dorance Armstrong and Deatrich Wise Jr. received the active/physically unable to perform designations. The roster moves took effect at the start of 2026 training camp.

Why it matters: The designation allows each player to return to practice during camp once medically cleared. Their absences temporarily reduce the available depth at cornerback and defensive end.

By the numbers: Amos started eight of 10 games in 2025, Armstrong started five of seven and Wise started both of his appearances. Together, they made 15 starts across 19 games.

What to watch: Practice participation and any activations from active/PUP will be the next markers before the preseason.
