Tennessee holds draft slot amid rumors. Video

What happened: The Tennessee Titans have confirmed they will not trade their No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and other insiders report no deals materialized despite interest from teams like the Giants and Raiders. Draft night proceedings continue with Tennessee on the clock.

Why it matters: Coming off a 3-14 season, the Titans need premium talent at QB or edge to rebuild the roster around young stars like Calvin Ridley. Staying put preserves a shot at top prospects amid a QB-heavy draft class.

By the numbers: Titans 2025 record: 3-14 (AFC South last, No. 4 pick via strength of schedule). Pre-draft Titans trade down (movement before signal). Prospect to Titans: Arch Manning (QB, Texas); Shedeur Sanders (QB, Colorado); Mason Graham (DT, Michigan) +800.

What to watch: Watch Titans' selection at No. 4; potential QB or defensive anchor. Monitor Giants at No. 3 for any late cascade trades.
