What happened: The TSU Tigers and HU Bison will meet Saturday, Feb. 20, 2027 in the NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T. The game is scheduled as part of NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix. Tickets are on sale now.

Why it matters: The Classic gives HBCU men's basketball a national slot on the All-Star calendar. The 2027 edition centers culture, tradition and excellence alongside the league's midseason showcase. A Phoenix date puts both programs before an expanded weekend audience.

What to watch: Tip time, broadcast information and weekend events will follow. Both teams head toward the game as part of their 2026-27 campaigns.
