What happened: New Orleans will package Wednesday programming as Wednesday Night Hoops. The team positions it as a fixed weekly destination for fans across the Gulf Coast.

Why it matters: The rollout arrives during preseason of the 2026-27 season as clubs set local routines. A standing weeknight gives New Orleans a repeatable window for tickets and broadcasts.

What to watch: Dates, tip times and theme nights remain to be detailed for the Wednesday slate.
