What happened: The Minnesota Twins are back in action Saturday in New York as their Fourth of July weekend road series continues. The club dropped Friday's game 5-2 and will look to even things up in the holiday matchup.

Why it matters: Every game counts in the 2026 regular season as Minnesota tries to keep pace in the American League race. A rebound win on the road would steady a lineup that has struggled to string together hits in recent days.

What to watch: First pitch comes Saturday in New York, with the Twins aiming to square the series before the road trip rolls on.
