What happened: Nazim Sadykhov, posting as @HappyPunch, said UFC rejected calls to release him and has a plan for his return. The lightweight fighter affirmed: 'I’m coming back now.' Sadykhov last won by submission over Ismael Bonfim in March 2024.

Why it matters: Sadykhov's retention bolsters UFC lightweight depth amid prospect development. His 11-1-1 record positions him for ranked matchups. Return could shift mid-tier betting lines and Octagon scheduling.

What to watch: Monitor UFC fight announcements for Sadykhov's next bout opponent and date.
