This is the third consecutive year manager Stephen Vogt has led the #Guardians to the playoffs #StandGuard https://t.co/ Via @RuiterWrongFAN on X

What happened: Cleveland is back in the postseason again, extending Stephen Vogt's run to three straight playoff trips in his first three seasons managing the club. The Guardians open the ALDS on Saturday in Cleveland with first pitch set for 1 p.m. ET on TBS.

Why it matters: That kind of continuity gives Cleveland a stable October baseline instead of a one-off push. The Guardians open the ALDS at home, giving Vogt another chance to turn a return trip into a deeper run.

By the numbers: Three consecutive playoff berths now

What to watch: Game 1 will show whether Cleveland can convert another playoff entry into an early series edge.
