What happened: The Golden State Warriors open the 2026-27 season tonight in Los Angeles. The Valkyries sent a good-luck message to the Warriors ahead of tip.

Why it matters: The opener begins a new campaign after open practice ahead of the season. The club also agreed to a five-year, $110M extension with Brandin Podziemski earlier this month.

What to watch: The result in Los Angeles sets the tone before Golden State's home slate.
