What happened: The game is in progress in Washington. Davis holds the early game high with 10 points.

Why it matters: Early crowd response marks Davis as the focal point of the night. His 6 rebounds and 1 assist show multi-category production beyond scoring.

By the numbers: Anthony Davis: 10 PTS, 6 REB, 1 AST, game-high 10 points.

What to watch: Next is whether Davis keeps the game-high scoring pace through the middle periods.
