What happened: Will Smith drove a double deep into the left-center-field gap to score two runs and put the Los Angeles Dodgers ahead 2-1. Andy Pages was pinch-hit for earlier in the contest.

Why it matters: Smith became the first Dodger other than Pages to deliver a hit with runners in scoring position. Breaking through in clutch situations gives the lineup a crucial spark after earlier opportunities stalled.

What to watch: Los Angeles looks to hold the 2-1 edge through the remainder of the game.
