What happened: William Stromgren opened the scoring for the Calgary Flames with an early goal. The strike gave Calgary a quick advantage in the opening frame.

Why it matters: Stromgren has worked to carve out consistent ice time in Calgary's lineup. Early offensive contributions from depth skaters provide a lift for the Flames as they look to control the tempo.

What to watch: The Flames will look to maintain momentum and build upon the early advantage as play continues.
