What happened: Williams opened DWCS Week 6 with a unanimous-decision victory in the first result of Tuesday's card. It followed his featherweight opener on the Week 6 slate after entering the night unbeaten.

Why it matters: The result matters because Tuesday's standouts are fighting for UFC contract consideration. An opening-fight win keeps Williams in that conversation as the rest of the card plays out.

What to watch: Contract decisions will come into focus once the full Week 6 card is complete. The next measure is how Williams' decision stacks up against the night's other winners.
