What happened: The deal brings the 27-year-old to camp and lets the Washington Wizards secure his G League rights. Chris Haynes first reported the agreement.

Why it matters: The contract does not use a spot on Washington's 15-man roster, preserving flexibility through camp. Williams has exhausted his two-way eligibility.

What to watch: Washington must decide after camp whether to offer Williams a standard contract or route him to the G League. A waiver followed by a Capital City deal could yield a bonus of up to $75,000.
