What happened: Yahoo Sports carried remarks from an MLB insider addressing Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge's injury situation. The comments arrive during the All-Star break as New York continues preparing for the stretch toward the Aug. 3 trade deadline.

Why it matters: Judge anchors the middle of New York's lineup, so any update on his health carries direct weight for a Yankees club already managing pitching questions after Carlos Rodon's elbow injury pushed the front office toward the rotation trade market. His availability factors into how aggressively New York shops for pitching help before the deadline.

What to watch: Wire Report will track further reporting on Judge's status as the Yankees finalize their trade deadline plans.
