What happened: The update spotlights the five-star tier for the national Class of 2028. The expanded Top247 board is live on the 247Sports site.

Why it matters: Early five-star designations set the initial order for college staffs tracking sophomore prospects. Shifts at the top steer offer lists and visit priorities into the 2027 evaluation windows.

By the numbers: Mid-October refresh listed three five-stars: Kameron McGee and new additions the same Kellan Hall and Casey Barner who earned fifth stars.

What to watch: College offer activity and the next Top247 refresh will show how recruiters value the reshuffled tier.
