What happened: Aaron Donald, who stepped back onto the field for a Monday night return on Sept. 21, underscored the value of a clean weekly slate heading into Week 7. He stated that the best part of the schedule is having a new week to go out and execute.

Why it matters: Selected 13th overall in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the veteran defender has settled into the regular-season rotation after a closely managed start to the 2026 campaign. Following workload evaluations on Aug. 31 and roster activation on Sept. 1, he missed the Sept. 8 opener in Australia before rejoining active game preparations later in the month.

What to watch: Week 7 regular-season action marks the next scheduled opportunity for on-field execution.
