What happened: Angel McCoughtry led Atlanta to three WNBA Finals appearances in 2010, 2011, and 2013, with the franchise coming away winless in each championship series. Returning to the league's final stage for the first time in 13 years, the Dream broke into the Finals win column against the Valkyries.

Why it matters: McCoughtry recently urged the Dream to savor their Finals return as the current roster chases the organization's first championship banner. Splitting the opening two games leaves Atlanta two victories from the title entering a sold-out home contest.

What to watch: Atlanta hosts Golden State at State Farm Arena with tip scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET on USA Network.
