What happened: Connor Rogers described Azareye'H Thomas as flying under the radar before a Year 2 emergence. The Florida State product entered the league as the 73rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Why it matters: Second-year jumps at cornerback often decide coverage depth and weekly matchups. Sustained growth would expand his role beyond rotational work from his 12 appearances in 2025.

By the numbers: 2025 season: 22 tackles in 12 games. Draft: third round, 73rd overall in 2025, out of Florida State.

What to watch: Upcoming games will clarify his snap share and the caliber of receivers assigned to him.
