What happened: LaMelo Ball credited Rudy Gobert's passing following an assist in Minnesota's victory against Milwaukee. Asked whether he taught the center the move in training camp, Ball noted Gobert had his own guard skills.

Why it matters: The victory moved Minnesota to 5-3 through eight games in the 2026-27 regular season, holding the eighth seed. Developing chemistry between Ball and the frontcourt remains central to Minnesota's offensive structure.

What to watch: Minnesota looks to extend its winning momentum as the regular season continues.
