What happened: On The Ringer NBA Show, Justin Verrier and Rob Mahoney discussed Luka Doncic scoring 52 against the Utah Jazz. Verrier said he is not surprised by individual achievements like it, because he has long called Doncic a very good player.

Why it matters: Verrier said the team is built in Doncic's image and everything is set up for him, so an MVP finish would not surprise him as long as he stays healthy. He added that the opponent, Utah, helps the line, and that Doncic is productive every season he plays.

What to watch: Verrier said his only real wish is to see Doncic in better shape.
