What happened: A hearing officer overturned Franklin's one-game suspension after he was accused of spitting at an opponent during Buffalo's Week 6 game. Franklin denied the allegation.

Why it matters: The ruling leaves Franklin eligible to play when Buffalo returns from its bye on Nov. 1. The original suspension would have kept him out for one game.

By the numbers: Buffalo is 5-1 after a 33-30 win in Week 6.

What to watch: The Bills return to play Nov. 1.
