Bleacher Report puts Jalen Green on 'sneaky' trade list

Phoenix posted a plus-2.8 net rating with Green and Booker

What happened: Bleacher Report placed Jalen Green among five potential trade candidates, arguing that his fit beside Devin Booker could prompt Phoenix to test the market. The analysis proposed a sixth-man role as an alternative.

Why it matters: Phoenix has surfaced in offseason mock-trade chatter, and moving Green would reshape its backcourt before 2026-27. Keeping him would require the Suns to define roles for Green, Booker and Collin Gillespie.

By the numbers: Phoenix recorded a plus-8.7 net rating with Gillespie and Booker, compared with plus-2.8 for Booker and Green. Booker lineups posted plus-9.2 when he played shooting guard and minus-0.7 at point guard.

What to watch: Watch whether Phoenix tests Green's market before camp or enters 2026-27 with him in a starting or sixth-man role.
